Date of latest update: 19/06/2024
Welcome to the digital tools (Website, WhatsApp and IUdo Application) of the Mais Pfizer Program (collectively referred to as "Platform"). The Platform is controlled and operated by Pfizer Brasil Ltda., registered with the CNPJ under the number. 61.072.393/0001-33, established at Rua Alexandre Dumas, 1860, 3rd floor, CEP 04717-904, São Paulo - SP ( along with other companies of its economic group, will be called "Pfizer").
1. PRIVACY POLICY
Mais Pfizer is a program that encourages the patient to adhere to the treatment prescribed by their doctor ("Mais Pfizer" or "Program"). Developed by Pfizer Brasil LTDA ("Pfizer"), the Program aims to bring the health closer to the patient participating in the Program ("Participant"), providing information on the treatment, and offering discounts on the purchase of selected medications.
For Pfizer to be able to offer such benefits to patients, it is necessary that Pfizer or third parties contracted by Pfizer collect and process some of Participants' personal data.
This Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") presents, in a simple, objective, and transparent manner, the practices adopted by Pfizer in relation to the processing of Participants' personal data under the More Pfizer program.
ALTHOUGH SHARING PERSONAL DATA WITH PFIZER IS A PATIENT CHOICE, IT IS A CONDITION FOR PARTICIPATING IN THE MORE PFIZER PROGRAM. WE THEREFORE RECOMMEND THAT THIS PRIVACY POLICY BE HANDLED CAREFULLY.
The Mais Pfizer Program is offered by Pfizer, but administered by service providers, indicated at the end of this Privacy Policy ("Program Administrators"). All processing of Participants' personal data described in this Privacy Policy is carried out by Program Administrators on behalf of Pfizer and in accordance with Pfizer's instructions. Pfizer, however, does not have direct access to the Participants' personal data and does not otherwise process such data except in exceptional and limited circumstances and in a controlled environment and to comply with legal obligations related to reporting of adverse events involving Participants, in the case of internal audit processes or to exercise their rights in judicial, administrative or arbitral proceedings. For example, Pfizer (and/or its outsourced IT service providers) may have visibility into personal data while maintaining and managing the cloud in which its data is stored. Access to the cloud area in which personal data is stored is limited by access control mechanisms, so that only employees and contractors with specific privileges who need to access it to manage system configuration have access to it. In all cases, such individuals would be bound by appropriate contractual requirements with respect to strict confidentiality. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, Pfizer acts as the controller of the Participants' personal data and the Program Administrators act as the operators of the Participants' personal data, as these terms are defined in the General Personal Data Protection Act (Act No. 13,709 of 2018 - LGPD).
As described in the Program Regulation, Participants may register, subject to acceptance of the terms and conditions provided in the Program Regulation and Privacy Policy and consent to the processing of personal data, through the Service Center, the More Pfizer website, through Accredited Network, the IUdo app or through WhatsApp. If you choose to use WhatsApp, data shared through WhatsApp, including sensitive personal data, will be subject to WhatsApp's privacy policies in effect at the time of sharing your personal data.
If the patient is also eligible for participation in the Muito Bem Vindo Program and wishes to register, he/she (or his/her legal guardian, as applicable) shall accept the terms and conditions of the Muito Bem Vindo Program, in accordance with its regulations, as well as the processing of personal data by the Muito Bem Vindo Program, in accordance with its privacy policy. Participation and registration in each program are independent.
Registration in APP IUdo
The IUdo Application - mobile version of the Mais Pfizer Program website, is intended for use by participants who: (i) have medical prescription of a Pfizer drug supported by the Mais Pfizer Program; (ii) have given their consent under the terms presented by the patient care program. Patients are not required to use the application and have the option to provide the information needed to participate in the program without using the application.
Pfizer GPA Account
Access to the Platform (i.e., the Website and the UI Application) is managed through the Global Patient Authentication (GPA) Account. The Pfizer GPA Account allows you to create a single account that can be used to log into any Pfizer application/website and service connected to the Pfizer GPA Account, including the Platform. Note that some Pfizer applications/websites may require additional information or even approval before you can log in, and the review and approval process for those applications/websites will be managed through those applications/websites themselves.
If you do not already have a Pfizer GPA Account, you will need to create it to access the Platform.
When creating your Pfizer GPA Account to access the Platform, we collect only the personal data necessary to create your account. You will need to provide your first name, last name, email address, account password and, for Brazilian citizens, your social security number which will be used as a user name. All of this data is encrypted both in transit and at rest, protecting your data from unauthorized use. Your account details for this particular application/website will be stored on cloud-based servers located in the US and Europe (with a primary data center in Frankfurt, Germany, and a contingency center in Dublin, Ireland) controlled by Pfizer Inc (the U.S. company that is the parent of Pfizer Brazil).
This part of this Privacy Policy describes the personal data we collect specifically to create your Pfizer GPA Account in connection with the use of the Platform; how we use that data; how we protect it and the choices you can make in relation to it:
- Information we collect directly from you: When creating your Pfizer GPA Account to access the Platform, we collect only the personal data necessary to create your account. If you do not already have a Pfizer GPA Account, you will need to create an account to use this Platform, for which you will need to provide your first name, last name, email address, account password and, for individuals in Brazil, a social security number that will be used as a user name.
- Information we collect from other sources: If you create or login to your Pfizer GPA Account through a third-party platform (such as Google, Apple), the information we will collect from such platform will still be the first name, last name and email address, and no additional information will be stored.
- How we use your personal data: We use your personal data from the Pfizer GPA Account only for account creation and management.
- How we disclose personal data: We do not disclose your Pfizer GPA Account creation data to third parties outside of Pfizer.
- How we protect your data: Personal data collected through your Pfizer GPA Account is stored on cloud-based servers located in the U.S. and Europe (with a primary data center in Frankfurt, Germany, and a contingency center in Dublin, Ireland) controlled by Pfizer Inc. and is encrypted both in transit and at rest, protecting your data from unauthorized use.
- How you manage your data: If you decide to delete your Pfizer GPA Account, you will lose access to the applications/websites associated with the Pfizer GPA Account and we will delete all of your personally identifiable information that you provided to create your Pfizer GPA Account from our records and databases. If in the future you decide to re-access the applications/websites using the Pfizer GPA Account, you will need to create a new Pfizer GPA Account
