OncoMate™ Australia — Privacy Notice

This OncoMate Australia Privacy Notice (‘Notice’) explains how personal information is collected, used and handled when you use the OncoMate™ Australia mobile application (the ‘App’). The App is provided by Pfizer Australia Pty Ltd and its affiliates (together, ‘Pfizer’, ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’). “Affiliates” means Pfizer Inc. and other companies in the Pfizer group of companies, being entities that control, are controlled by, or are under common control with Pfizer Australia Pty Ltd. This Notice provides additional information about Pfizer’s privacy practices in relation to the App and should be read together with the Pfizer Australia Privacy Policy, which explains Pfizer’s broader privacy practices and how Pfizer collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If there is any inconsistency between this Notice and the Pfizer Australia Privacy Policy in relation to the App, the Pfizer Australia Privacy Policy applies to the extent of that inconsistency.

Information we collect and how it is stored

Treatment information you enter in the App. The App allows you to record information designed to help you manage your treatment. This information is stored only on your device. It is not sent to, or stored by, Pfizer or any third party. It remains on your device for as long as the App is installed.

Usage Information. To help us understand how the App is used and to improve its features and performance, the App collects anonymous usage information, such as which screens are opened and which options are selected. This information is sent to our analytics provider, Adobe Analytics. It does not identify you and does not include personal information or health information.

Location. The App does not collect your location information.

How we use information

We use the anonymous usage information described above only to understand how the App is used and to improve its features and performance. Pfizer accesses this information to assess how effectively the App engages and supports its users. Because the treatment information you enter remains on your device and is not sent to us, Pfizer does not access or use that information.

Who we share information with

We share anonymous usage information with Adobe Analytics, which provides analytics services to Pfizer. As this information does not identify you, it cannot be used to contact or recognise you. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share the treatment information you enter in the App, because that information is stored only on your device and is not sent to Pfizer.

How long we keep your information

The treatment information you enter is retained on your device for as long as the App is installed. You remain in control of this information.

The anonymous usage information sent to Adobe Analytics is retained for 25 months from the date it is recorded, after which it is automatically deleted and cannot be recovered. After that period, it is deleted in accordance with the Pfizer Australia Privacy Policy.

How to delete your information

Because the information you enter in the App is stored only on your device, you control its deletion. To permanently delete all treatment information you have entered, uninstall the App from your device. Uninstalling the App removes the treatment information from your device.

Anonymous usage information that has already been sent to Adobe Analytics cannot be linked to you and therefore cannot be individually identified or deleted. As noted above, this information contains no personal information or health information and is retained only for the period described in this Notice.

From time to time, Pfizer may update this Notice and the Pfizer Australia Privacy Policy. Any changes will take effect when the revised Notice and/or Pfizer Australia Privacy Policy is posted, as indicated by the effective date listed at the start of the relevant notice or policy. This Notice was last updated as of the effective date listed above.
