This Notice applies to any use of the Impala Kit Verify (the “App”), including all content, features, functionality, programs, applications, or services provided on or through the App (collectively, the “Services”). This notice provides highlights of the privacy policy of Pfizer Limited, India (hereinafter referred to as ‘Pfizer’ or ‘Company’) and hereby declare that the Company will comply with laws and regulations concerning the protection of personal data and other standards concerning the protection of personal data, and that it will establish voluntary rules and systems in consideration of international trends, and that it will implement and maintain the Personal Information Protection Policy (https://www.pfizer.co.in/privacy-policy Pfizer India’s privacy policy website). The privacy of your personal information is important to Pfizer. To better protect your privacy, we provide you with our privacy policy so that you will understand our commitment to you, and to your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes what information we may collect about you; how we use your information; how we protect it; and what choices you have on how that information is used. By using the Impala Kit Verify (the “App”), you consent to the collection and use of information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

How We Use The Information
Aggregate data
We may gather aggregate data from the information provided by the users of the App and share your personally identifiable information with other Pfizer businesses or affiliates, our agents, contractor or business partners in order that they may perform services for us. We use our best efforts to assure that such third parties agree to abide by Pfizer privacy policies and enter into appropriate agreements to ensure that the third parties who receive your information implement security measures commensurate to our security standards.
If we discover that a third party working on behalf of Pfizer inappropriately disclosed personal information about any of user of the App, we will take immediate action to prevent further occurrences.
Other than as described above, Pfizer will not release personally identifiable information to a third party.
Data Collected Automatically
We use tracking technologies so that we can understand how the App is used, optimize user engagement with the App and customize and enhance your experience. We may also use the data collected to deliver personalized services to you. These technologies collect certain data automatically, such as:
- Data about your device, such as your information about your device and device capabilities, session ID, screen resolution, operating system, your activities on the App and information about how you use it, Wi-Fi, device manufacturer and model, and language. We use this data to ensure that the App functions properly and as described below.
- Data about your use of the App, including content viewed, features used and the dates and times of your interactions with the App. We use this data to understand how users engage with the App, to customize and improve the App experience and as described below.
We use third-party services that use cookies, SDKs and/or similar tracking technologies to collect and analyze data about App use and to report on activities and trends as described below.
Data We Collect And Use
Information we collect from users
Users of the App (i.e. other than those hosted by third parties) can access such App's home page, and access some areas of the App, without disclosing any personally identifiable information.
We may collect Personal Data in various ways from you, others and through the App.
We may obtain Personal Data when [you and/or] our clinical personnel use the App, including:
- Protocol numbers, site IDs, container bar codes
- Scans of the drug assignment confirmation report
Cookies and Other Tracking Mechanisms
We and our third-party service providers collect and use cookies and other tracking mechanisms to track information about your use of our Services.
Tags and Other Technologies. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on your device, clear GIFs are embedded invisibly on app pages. We use automated devices and applications, such as Adobe Analytics, to evaluate usage of our App. We use these tools to help us improve the performance of our App, services, and user experiences. - You may stop all collection of data by the App by uninstalling the App.
- You may be able to change app notifications through your App or device settings.

In your request, please tell us what Personal Data you would like to have changed or otherwise let us know what limitations you would like to put on the use of it. For your protection, we may only implement requests with respect to the Personal Data associated with the Personal Data that we have about you, and we may need to verify your identity before implementing your request. Please note that we may need to retain certain Personal Data for recordkeeping or legal purposes and/or to complete any transactions that you began prior to requesting a change or deletion.
Protection Of Information
Our commitment to security
We have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security, and correctly use the information we collect online. While we strive to protect your personal data against potential risks and exposures, the absolute security of data in the online sphere cannot be guaranteed. Hence, we ask you to support our information security efforts by not disclosing any data on the App that is particularly sensitive (including financial information, information relating to physical, physiological and mental health, sexual orientation etc.) or not required in the specific context on the App. You should take steps to protect against unauthorized access to your password or devices by, among other things, signing off after using a shared device, choosing a robust, unique password that nobody else knows or can easily guess, and keeping your log-in and password private. We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or compromised passwords or for any activity on your account via unauthorized password activity.
Storage of information
We will retain your Personal Data for as long as needed or permitted in light of the purpose(s) for which it was obtained and as outlined in this Privacy Notice. The criteria used to determine our retention periods include: the length of time we have an ongoing relationship with you and provide the App to you; whether there is a legal obligation to which we are subject; or whether retention is advisable in light of our legal position (such as in regard to the enforcement of the App Terms of Use, applicable statutes of limitations, litigation or regulatory investigations).
Cross-border transfer
The data we collect through the App may be stored and processed in any country where we have facilities or in which we engage service providers. The information that we collect (including through cookies) will be processed for cross border transfer in compliance with the data protection regulations of India. Where necessary under applicable law, we may employ appropriate cross-border transfer methods governing Personal Data.
Third parties
This Privacy Notice does not address, and we are not responsible for, the data collection, use, disclosure or security practices, or other practices, of any third party, including any third party operating a service to which the App links. The inclusion of a link within the App does not imply our endorsement of the linked service. Except as otherwise provided in the Restriction on Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties, we do not provide personal data to third parties without obtaining the prior consent of the person.
Notice concerning children
The App is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children. If you are under 18 years, you will need your parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to use the App. Please consult with your parent or legal guardian before installing the App.
If you are providing us with Personal Data of children, you represent that you have the appropriate authority to do so and that you can demonstrate such authority to us upon request.
