IMMUNICE PRIVACY NOTICE

Pfizer, Inc. respects your privacy. This Privacy Notice describes our practices in connection with the information collected through the ImmuNICE app (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Notice.
INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE
The App is a vaccination tracking application for parents to track their family’s vaccinations. The user enters the information he/she chooses to provide for this purpose. This may include, for example:
- Individual profiles for each family member, in particular, children: name, picture, date of birth, and gender.
- Vaccinations records: status and date and, if the case of children, also length and weight.
- Vaccination schedule and calendar appointments and progress for each individual (vaccination history according to the vaccination records made by the user).
When you, as parent and primary user, are providing the App with information relating to other family members, including your children, you are telling us that you have the authority to do so and to permit the App to use the information as described in this Privacy Notice.
HOW THE APP USES AND DISCLOSES THE INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE
The App uses the information you provide to deliver the App’s functionality to you. We do not receive any information that you provide. The information is stored within the App on your mobile device. You may decide to share reports or other messages generated by the App with others. If you do, the report will be sent to the person(s) you designate using the email functionality of your device.
INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY
We use tracking technologies so that we can understand how the App is used, optimize user engagement with the App and customize and enhance your experience. We may also use the data collected to deliver personalized services to you. These technologies collect certain data automatically, such as:
- Data about your device, such as your screen resolution, operating system, device manufacturer and model, and language. We use this data to ensure that the App functions properly.
- Data about your use of the App, including content viewed, features used and the dates and times of your interactions with the App. We use this data to understand how users engage with the App and to customize and improve the App experience.
We use third-party services that use cookies and/or similar technologies to collect and analyze data about App use and to report on activities and trends to improve user experience. Such services may also collect data regarding the use of other websites, apps and online services. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
This Privacy Notice does not address, and we are not responsible for, the information collection, use, disclosure or security practices, or other practices, of any third party, including any third party operating a service to which the App links. The inclusion of a link within the App does not imply our endorsement of the linked service.
SECURITY
The information that you provide to the App is stored and encrypted on your device. It is not transmitted to us.
These security measures only relate to the App and do not apply to anything you do outside of the App. Please note that we cannot control and are not responsible for the security of your device or other apps you use on your device.
Therefore, if you lose your device, you will also lose the information stored on it, and the information may be vulnerable to exposure, in particular if you have not enabled a general security login for your device (e.g. through password or fingerprint authentication). In addition, if you decide to share reports or other messages generated by the App with others electronically, you are advised to first check the security features of your device, since it will be sent to the person(s) you designate using the transmission functionality (e.g., email) and security features of your device (and not the App’s security features).
YOUR PRIVACY CONTROLS
You may stop all collection of information by the App by uninstalling the App.
If you do not want to share with Pfizer the Information about your use of the App and the device location information with Pfizer, you can turn off this functionality in the App setting. Turning off this functionality will not affect the normal operation of the App.
You may stop the receipt of notifications (i.e., reminds of your appointments in advance; reminds to take your vaccines) through your device settings.
RETENTION PERIOD
We will retain the information provided to us (i.e., automatically collected information and Non-Confidential Information under Section 10 of the Terms of Use) for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
USE BY MINORS
This App is intended to be installed and used only on a device belonging to a parent as a primary user, who must be 18 years old or above. Children using the App who are minors (under applicable law) must only do so under your supervision as parent and primary user. As primary user, you represent and warrant that you have legal custody over the child using the App and you also consent to any personal information of the child collected and processed through the use of the App.
UPDATES
From time to time, we may update this Privacy Notice. Any changes will become effective when we post the revised Privacy Notice in the App. Your use of the App following these changes means that you accept the revised Privacy Notice. This Privacy Notice was last updated as of the “Last Updated” date shown above.
