Pfizer Inc. respects your privacy. This Privacy Notice describes our practices in connection with the information collected through HemMobile (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Notice.
By using the App, you must affirmatively consent to be bound by this Privacy Policy, and the use of your personal information as stated herein. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy in its entirety, or have objections to the use of your personal data as stated herein, you may not access, or otherwise use the site and/or HemMobile offerings.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of entities other than Pfizer, or any software, or mobile device applications that Pfizer does not own or control, with whom you may interact while using the App.

INFORMATION THE APP COLLECTS
The App collects the information you choose to provide. This may include:
- Name
- Postal address
- Email address
- Date of Birth
- Type of Hemophilia
- Type of Factor
- Sex
- Height
- Weight
- Your Infusions and Infusion Location
- Your Bleeds and Bleed Location
- Your Pain
- Factor Supply
- Reminders
- Activity Information generated through the use of your custom wearable
All personally identifiable information i.e. any information relating to a person, which, either directly or indirectly, in combination with other information, capable of identifying such person (“Personal Information”) is stored on your device by the App and is neither collected by the App for access by Pfizer, not transmitted to Pfizer.
We will never transmit your Personal Information to Pfizer or to any third party without your consent, or unless such transfer is specifically initiated by you. Where you initiate the transfer of your data to a third party, it is your responsibility to ensure that (i) you are duly authorised to share the information with such third party and (ii) such transfer is not prohibited by law.
The App is an on-device software downloaded, installed and controlled by you (and not Pfizer) which utilizes the Personal Information you provide only to provide you with the functionalities provided by the App.
Accordingly, please note that Pfizer is not a recipient of any personal information from the users of the App and does not collect, process, transmit, or transfer your Personal Information, all of which is retained solely within your custody and control.
If you provide or permit the App to collect any information relating to another person, you are representing and warranting to us that (i) you are duly authorized to provide personal information relating to such other person to the App, (ii) you will furnish such authorization or where such authority is granted by law provide evidence that you are statutorily authorized upon request by Pfizer, and (iii) expressly accord your consent to us to use the information provided by you, which you represent you are authorized to provide, as described in this Privacy Policy.
HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE
Generally, storage is Local to Your Device. The personal information you provide in all forms and media (including but not limited to text and images, e.g., photos you take using your mobile device's camera functionality) to this Software and will be stored locally, in an encrypted format, on your device. If you choose to register with HemophiliaVillage.com via the Software in order to receive information relating to Hemophilia via email, the Personal Information associated with your registration for/opt-in to Hemophiliavillage.com ("HV Registration Data") will be transmitted to Pfizer and will be used by Pfizer in accordance with the Privacy Policy posted on the HemophiliaVillage.com website. Personal Information other than the HV Registration Data will not be provided to Pfizer.
Data collected from your custom wearable activity tracking devices or fitness apps or similar mobile device applications that pair with HemMobile™. Activity tracking information will be sent to the wearable device’s storage system or database in order to make the activity calculations that are displayed in the HemMobile™ app. The data will also be stored locally on your device. Any activity and information collected by your wearable devices or fitness apps or similar mobile device applications is collected pursuant to the relevant wearable activity tracker’s or fitness app’s Privacy Policy.
GOOGLE FIT® Application
HemMobiletm when authorized by you can send and receive information from the Google Fit® application. The Activity data logged by you in HemMobiletm shall be displayed in Google Fit® when Google Fit® is synced with HemMobiletm. Steps and Activity(workout) data logged by you in Google Fit® shall be displayed on the HemMobiletm Activity and Reports screen when Google Fit® is synced with HemMobiletm.
If there are any elements in data which we collect which may be construed as capable of identifying an individual, You agree to our anonymizing, aggregating or de-identifying such information by removing information that makes the data personally identifiable to you and using this anonymous, aggregated or de-identified data and/or sharing it with third parties for lawful purposes.
We may aggregate, use and transfer any Non-Personal Data that you and other App users provide without requiring any consent from you in addition to your consenting to this Privacy Policy by use of the App.
DATA TRANSFERS & DISCLOSURES
You may choose to share reports or other messages generated by the App with others. If you do, the report will be sent to the person(s) you designate using the email functionality on your device. In this regard, you are solely responsible for ensuring that the recipient selected to receive Shareable Data is the intended recipient of such information. The App never selects or suggests recipients of your Shareable Data and any unintended or inadvertent transmission, transfer, export, or disclosure of information from the App is solely your responsibility.
We may also use and disclose the information you provide as we believe to be necessary or appropriate: (a) under applicable law, including laws outside your country of residence; (b) to comply with legal process; (c) to respond to requests from public and government authorities, including authorities outside your country of residence; (d) to enforce our terms and conditions; (e) to protect our operations, or those of any of our affiliates; (f) to protect our rights, privacy, safety or property, and/or that of our affiliates, you or others; and (g) to allow us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain.
You agree that all of our rights and obligations under this Privacy Policy are freely assignable by us to any of our affiliates or successors, in connection with any reorganization, merger, acquisition, sale, joint venture, assignment, restructuring, transfer or other disposition of all or any portion of our business, assets or stock (including in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceedings).
OTHER INFORMATION
We may use cookies and other technologies to recognize you as you use or return to the App so that we can understand how the App is used and personalize and enhance your experience. These technologies collect certain information automatically, such as:
- Information about your device, such as your screen resolution, operating system, device manufacturer and model, language and browser type. We use this information to ensure that the App functions properly.
- Information about your use of the App, including content viewed, features used and the dates and times of your interactions with the App. We use this information to understand how users engage with the App and to customize and improve the App experience.
We may use third-party services, such as Adobe Analytics, in connection with the App. Such services may use cookies and/or similar technologies to collect and analyse information about App use and to report on activities and trends without collecting or processing Personal Information. Such services may also collect information regarding the use of other websites, apps and online services. We may use and disclose the Non-Personal Data described in this section for any purpose, except where we are prohibited from doing so under applicable law.
DO NOT TRACK
Do Not Track ("DNT") is a privacy preference that users can set in their web browsers. When a user turns on DNT, the browser sends a message to websites requesting that they not track the user. At this time, Pfizer does not respond to these signals. For information about DNT, visit www.allaboutdnt.com.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
This Privacy Notice does not address, and we are not responsible for, the information collection, use, disclosure or security practices, or other practices, of any third party, including any third party operating a service to which the App links. The inclusion of a link within the App does not imply our endorsement of the linked service.
DATA SECURITY
Your Personal Data is stored on your device. It is not transmitted to us. If you lose your device, you will also lose the Personal Data stored on it, and the data may be vulnerable to exposure, especially if you have not enabled secure access for your device (such as through a password or fingerprint authentication). In addition, if you choose to share reports or other messages generated by the application with others electronically, you are advised to first check the security features of your email or other applicable communications features on your device, as they do not operate within the application.
For your convenience, the application may give you the opportunity to back up the Personal Data stored on the application with a third-party storage provider (dropbox ) Pfizer has no responsibility for any data that you choose to share with that provider.
RETENTION PERIOD
We will retain the data we collect from your use of the Application for as long as needed or permitted in light of the purpose(s) for which it was obtained and as outlined in this Privacy Notice. The criteria used to determine our retention periods include: (i) the length of time we have an ongoing relationship with you and provide the application to you; (ii) whether there is a legal obligation to which we are subject; or (iii) whether retention is advisable in light of our legal position (such as in regard to the enforcement of the application’s Terms of Use, applicable statutes of limitations, litigation or regulatory investigations).
YOUR PRIVACY CONTROLS
You may stop all collection of information by the App by uninstalling the App. You may stop the receipt of push notifications through your device settings.
USE BY MINORS
The App is not directed to individuals under the age of thirteen (13), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from such individuals. If you are at least 13 years of age but less than 18 years of age, you will need your parent's or legal guardian's permission to use the App. Please consult with your parent or legal guardian before installing the App.
CROSS-BORDER TRANSFER
The App is controlled and operated by us from the United States and is not intended to subject us to the laws or jurisdiction of any state, country or territory other than that of the United States. The information we collect through the App may be stored and processed in any country where we have facilities or in which we engage service providers, and by using the App, you consent to the transfer of information to countries outside of your country of residence, including the United States, which may have different data protection rules than those of your country.
UPDATES
From time to time, we may update this Privacy Notice. Any changes will become effective when we post the revised Privacy Notice in the App. Your use of the App following these changes means that you accept the revised Privacy Notice. This Privacy Notice was last updated as of the "Last Updated" date shown above.
